After the worst recession in living memory forced many home owners to put housing improvements on hold, an award-winning Cheshire-based builder and a Northwich interior design expert have teamed up to offer property owners a short-cut to a perfect home.
Jim Hadfield, MD of A.J.Field Developments and Alice Buckley, founder of Alice Buckley Interior Design have joined forces to offer clients access to their vast expertise in cost-effective building and design, which they can utilise to make their home improvement dreams come true.
Mr Hadfield, who has spent 25 years in the building industry said: “The UK’s
improved economy combined with the re-election of a new Government is expected to tempt home owners to go ahead with those long postponed refurbishments and home extensions.
“I was determined to ensure that my client-focused business was ready to assist property owners whatever their project. However, Interior Design is the one area of skills that A.J.Field staff don’t have in-house. So I contacted Alice, who we have used on a great many projects and she agreed to team up with us.
“I’m delighted because like A.J. Field Developments, Alice Buckley Interior Design has huge experience in their field and offer the best advice possible but also ensures that the client always has the final say,” he added.
“In fact Alice and I first worked together eight years ago when we transformed an impressive Grade II listed hall.”
Alice, a successful former magazine journalist set up her own interior design consultancy nearly ten years ago. Integral to her design philosophy is that well planned design should not only look beautiful but work practically, as a house has to work for the whole family, whilst at the same time retaining individuality and style.
“We work on all sorts of projects for a wide variety of clients but we are looking forward to working alongside A.J.Field to help home owners make those long-delayed home refurbishments or extension dreams come true,” explained Alice.
Jim Hadfield, whose company handles a wide range of building projects from refurbishments and extensions to new build across Cheshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire added: “We’re looking forward to helping home owners make their home improvement dreams come true.
“People were loathe to invest money on home repair or improvement during the recession but there seems to be a much more positive economic outlook at the moment and we’re ready and waiting to assist home owners to invest in maintaining their most valuable investment…their homes.”
